Business Unit Development Manager
CCTV and Fire Offsite Control Room

Modular Communications SA is looking for a Business Unit Development Manager to manage the day to day activities of our control room based in Port Elizabeth. The control room is a state of the art control room using Dallmeier control systems and software which links into client sites around the country via a Wide Area Network infrastructure.

Prospective candidates will be required to:

• Manage the day to day activities of the control room.
• Manage client specific information and site procedures.
• Visit existing clients providing feedback and improve lines of communications.
• Prepare reports on incidents for clients and help with investigations.
• Develop new client contacts and contracts to expand this business unit.
• Prepare quotations for new and existing clients.
• Participate and manage sales presentations and promotions
• Prepare and manage a business plan with income and expenditure for the control room.

The prospective candidates would preferable have the following skills:

• A business management diploma or degree.
• Computer skills in word, excel and power point.
• Some basic accounting skills.
• Some computer networking knowledge.
• Be capable of preparing proposals which include CCTV and fire solutions with all costing's.
• Be capable of closing new proposals for prospective clients.
• Have good people skills and be well presented.
• Have no criminal record and a valid driver's license
